Piscean Promises Ahead ~ 16 Dec 2016

As the Sun reveals new ideas to follow and cultivate with his annual migration over the Galactic Center, perhaps it is time for a peek ahead at 2017.

Despite all of the political and economic uncertainty; despite all the emotional concern; despite apparent set backs on the horizon for humanitarianism and spirituality, as 2016 wanes and 2017 kicks into gear, Piscean transits promise soothing of the spirit and offer a vision of hope for the future.

Mars transit over the South Node in Pisces 24 - 27 December

Dig deep. This is the era of psychic archaeology. What reaction/feeling/sensation caused you to do what you did in the past? How’d that work out for you? If you can do something as easily as rolling off a log, that’s great. Is that skill contributing to all your present plans and future projections? Consider tweaking and tuning all actions, known skills and especially routine or habituated tasks. Perhaps changing the order of how you do regularly scheduled deeds might render a new behavior pattern that exceeds current effectiveness levels.

Saturn in Sagittarius square Chiron in Pisces, both direct, 28 December

Saturn and Chiron represent the relationship of father to son and the relationship of disavowing, disapproving father to a child rejected by both parents. Clear feelings toward the nurturing forces in your life. Accept your role in real world outcomes. This transit says, “You responded as you did to how your primary life care givers dealt with life. Now, if that’s not a viable response model for present day circumstances, abandon those behaviors and install response dynamics that better serve your current interests, both in intimate relationships and with all individuals you encounter on your life’s adventure.”

Mars conjunct Neptune in Pisces, 30 December to 2 January

Invest your energy in the pursuit of your dreams, Don Quixote. Windmills are fine this time of year. Field of Dreams, Dead Poets Society are great films to watch again to finish out or begin a new year. Heck the Rose Parade is lovely and often the floats are inspiration and the cadence of the drums... that’s Saturn. Avoid negative escapism. Enjoy positive distractions that permit fearful speculation to be quelled and the soul to be calmed.

Saturn in Sagittarius square Chiron in Pisces, Saturn Rx, Chiron direct, 30 April 2017

Four months into next year it’s time for a real world check list. What percentage of intended goals has been achieved? If efforts so far fail to produce optimal results, what procedural and philosophical (Saturn is in Sag) changes alter course more directly to intended destinations? Figure them out, get them installed. Keep in mind that your objective is to get “healthy” in all real world matters. To Saturn this means money and administration. To Chiron this means well-being in body and spirit.

Saturn in Sagittarius square Chiron in Pisces, Saturn direct, Chiron Rx, 2 November 2017

The focus next November is to ensure that the psyche has caught up with everything that’s happened. Sometimes it happens that improvements in a person’s life have set in place and solidified, but the subconscious fears things may revert back to an unsteady state. At this transit marker, take the time for a thorough life review. Know that what is solid is solid. If things have improved there is no reason to expect the good changes to evaporate. At this point, with the majority of 2017 complete, it’s time to respond to Jupiter’s recent and Saturn’s impending sign changes, and with those changes recognize the full distance traveled and revisit the progress yet to come. It’s time to measure how much good you’ve accomplished, and with that assessment, create an ever stronger motivation going forward.

One more SkyScraping before 2017 rolls around (unless Planet 9 is discovered). Stay tuned. More soon.
